MVN DURAFLOOR
MVN DURAFLOOR is a mineral dry shake hardener, consists of granded silica sand, cement and special additives. It is an economical concrete floor hardener recommended for both interior and exterior use. When applied MVN DURAFLOOR surface of concrete floor become to harden and highly resistant to abrasion
MVN DURAFLOOR is normally applied to freshly laid concrete
MVN DURAFLOOR is compliant with American concrete institute standard ACI 302, ACI 305 & ACI 306/ EN 13813.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
WHERE TO USE
METHOD STATEMENT
Concrete quality
New concrete should be formulated with a minimum cement content of 300 kg/m3 of concrete and with an aggregate suitable for the intended purpose. Plasticizers should be included to improve workability. Concrete air entrained must be lower than 3%. Stting time of concrete is important figures helps to decide the appropriate moment should be carried out the hardener sharking. The concrete mix-design should be evaluated by carrying out concrete trail-mixes before approve
MVN DURAFLOOR should be applied As soon as the substrate of concrete has reached plasticity (after bleeding, but before setting begins), as soon as it will support the weight of a man (the foot-print test). This will normally be after 4-12 hours depending on the weather conditions.
MIXING AND APPLICATION
Manual sprinkling
For optimum results sprinkling should take place in two stages when applied manually:
Mechanical spreader
Fresh topping
Curing
Use curing agent to immediately cure after the finishing operation is complete
It is essential that the curing process be well advanced before the floor is put into service. The following delays must be observed:
Cleaning
All tools and equipment should be rinse with water immediately after use, clean and remove all traces of grout.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
During use, avoid inhalation of dust and contact with the skin and eyes. Wear suitable clothing, gloves, eye protection and respiratory protective equipment.
