SUBSTRATE PREPERATION

• Delaminated, weak, damaged and deteriorated concrete shall be removed
• Rust, scale, mortar, concrete, dust and others loose material on surface of steel reinforcement bars shall be removed accordingly.
• All mortar and concrete surfaces should be brought to a saturated surface dry condition by presoaking with clean water. Remove all excess water just before placing mason mortar.

APPLICATION AND CURING

• Should be applied the bonding compatibility primer layers before applying the repair mortar, ensure the bonding primer layers still fresh at before apply the mortar
• Use 3.5 – 4.0 litres of clean water for 25kg of MVN FIXCRETE HC, for a large batch use the approved mechanical mixer, for a small batch can use the heavy duty slow speed driller with paddle. Slowly add the powder to water and stir the composition to a homogeneous mixture.
• A masonry trowel used to ensure proper transfer, applying a scratch coat by firmly scrapping the repair mortar over the substrate surface to form a thin layer and fill any pores or pits in the surface. Buildup layers from bottom to top by pressing mortar well into the repair area.
• Prepare appropriate quantity of adhesive each batch to enough for using. Does not using the mortar still not fresh after long period time spread onto surface of substrates, if skinning occurs, scrape off skin and replace with new mortar.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

• During use, avoid inhalation of dust and contact with the skin and eyes. Wear suitable clothing, gloves, eye protection and respiratory protective equipment.
