MVN Powder CGA-5
MVN POWDER CGA-5 is a ready to use injection aid in powder form. MVN POWDER CGA-5 causes the cement mixture to expand in whole setting state. The expanding is caused by the formation of densely distributed very small gas bubbles. Water reduction anh good workability
MVN POWDER CGA-5 are meets the requirement of TCVN 4030:2003/TCVN 13605:2023 and ASTM C940, C490.

WHERE TO USE
MVN POWDER CGA-5 is a special product for the grouting of pre-stressing cable ducts, bolt anchor. The use of MVN POWDER CGA-5 in the grouting mixture has the following effects:
- Workability retention
- Good strength and adherence properties
- Protective action against corrosion of the pre-stressing wires
- Durable and dense filling of all cavities
MIXING AND APPLICATION
Preparation
Clean all substrate surfaces free from dust and loose particles from the contact surface.
Mixing
Add MVN POWDER CGA-5 with approprita quantity of water. Keeping the mixer running, add the cement in the desired proportions. Mix until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Add the remaining water quantily to adjust the fluidity of mixture.
For pre-stressed grouting work, batching of mixture in done in mechanical way, mixing time from 3 – 5 minutes together with a W/C ratio 0.4-0.4%. General mixing sequence is Water-Cement-MVN POWDER CGA-5(It is not recommended to add sand for pre-stressed grouting work).
When grout containing sand is to be used the mixing sequence should be Sand- Cement- MVN POWDER CGA-5–water.
Placing
Allow the mortar to stabilize for 15 minutes after mixing. The pouring process must be continuous until completion.
Cleaning
All tools and equipment should be rinse with water immediately after use, clean and remove all traces of grout.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
During use, avoid inhalation of dust and contact with the skin and eyes. Wear suitable clothing, gloves, eye protection and respiratory protective equipment.

- Density: 1.00 - 1.15 g/cm3
- Dosage:0.2 - 1.1% by weight of cement (for cement mortar) or total binder (for concrete)
Typical dosage: 0.2 - 0.9% by weight of cement (for cement mortar) or total binder (for concrete)
- Specific Gravity: 2.15 ± 0.05 g/cm3.
