MVN-SR(II)
MVN-SR(II) is a new-generation high-range water-reducing admixture that produces highly flowable concrete, ideal for batching plants and precast concrete factories.
Features:
Very high water-reducing capability
Excellent early and ultimate strength development
No segregation at high slump (self-compacting concrete)
Suitable for long-distance transportation from batching plants
Enhances durability and delivers excellent concrete quality
Specification Type
MVN-SR(II) complies with ASTM C494 Type G.
Practical Uses
Prestressed concrete components
Thin structural elements with dense reinforcement
Bridge girders and cantilevered concrete structures
Self-compacting concrete (SCC)
Advantages
Excellent water-reducing capability
High early and ultimate strength development
No segregation at high slump levels (ideal for SCC)
Suitable for long-distance transportation from batching plants
Enhances concrete durability and delivers superior concrete quality
Increases productivity by reducing curing and construction steps
Reduces shrinkage and creep
Improves water resistance
Dosage rate: From 0.8 to 2.0 liters per 100 kg of cement. Typical dosage ranges from 1.0 to 1.5 liters per 100 kg of cement.
Compatibility: Not compatible with admixtures based on Naphthalene, Lignin, or Oligosaccharide.
Cement types: Suitable for all types of Portland cement and sulfate-resistant cement.
Quantitative: MVN-SR(II) can be added directly to pre-measured mixing water and then added to the dry concrete mix, or it can be dosed separately into the already mixed concrete (either at the batching plant or into the mixer truck on site).
Overdose: Overdosing MVN-SR(II) may affect concrete quality. It is recommended to perform preliminary tests with actual aggregates at the batching plant or construction site to determine the optimal dosage for each concrete mix.
