Fire Safety Training
Date Submitted: 1 năm

On December 9, 2023, International Construction Consulting and Investment Co., Ltd (ICCI) organized a fire prevention and fighting (PCCC) training session with the full participation of its officers and employees. The session took place in the company yard under the guidance of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Tan Binh Industrial Park.

From early morning, all participants gathered in the company yard with eagerness and a serious attitude. The training session began with a brief speech by the company's leadership, emphasizing the importance of fire safety in the workplace. Following the opening remarks, the fire police team presented the fundamental principles of fire prevention and control, how to identify fire extinguishing equipment, and how to use them effectively.

They introduced various types of fire extinguishers, including dry powder, CO₂, and automatic fire suppression systems. Each employee received detailed instructions on how to operate each type-from pulling the safety pin, aiming the nozzle at the fire, to squeezing the handle to discharge the extinguishing agent.

After the theory session, employees were divided into small groups to practice. Each group was assigned the task of extinguishing a simulated fire under close supervision by the fire safety officers. The practice session was dynamic and engaging, with everyone focused and striving to follow the correct techniques.

Next, ICCI staff participated in an emergency fire drill simulating a real-life explosion at the company. As the fire alarm sounded, everyone promptly executed evacuation procedures learned during the training. All employees moved quickly and orderly to a designated safe zone, ensuring everyone’s safety.

By the end of the training, each ICCI employee had gained valuable practical experience. Participants felt more confident, equipped with essential knowledge and skills to handle potential fire-related incidents. The session not only enhanced fire safety awareness but also fostered teamwork and strengthened bonds among employees.

This training reinforced the understanding across the workforce of how crucial it is to be well-prepared for fire emergencies. It is hoped that the company will continue to organize more beneficial sessions like this in the future.

The fire safety training was not just a routine activity but a vital part of ICCI’s commitment to occupational safety. It helped each individual understand their responsibility in fire prevention, contributing to the creation of a safe and effective working environment.
