The Cao Lanh Cable-Stayed Bridge was commenced in 2013 and completed in 2017. It is 2,015 meters long and 24.5 meters wide, featuring 6 lanes-3 lanes per direction, including 2 lanes for cars and 1 lane for motorcycles.
The bridge project was invested with 7,500 billion VND, sourced from non-refundable aid from Australia, loans from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and the State budget.
The bridge is designed for a maximum speed of 80 km/h, connecting the two banks of the Tien River, thereby reducing the ferry travel time by approximately 2 hours for local residents and contributing to regional economic development.
The bridge lies on Expressway No. 2, linking Cao Lanh City and Rach Gia City.
