The primary objective of Phase 1 of the Cai Lon - Cai Be irrigation system is to regulate water resources (saline, brackish, and fresh water), thereby creating stable and sustainable conditions for production models adapted to different ecosystems—including freshwater, brackish-saline, and alternating freshwater-brackish systems.
The project benefits a natural area of 384,120 hectares, covering the provinces of Kien Giang, Hau Giang, Ca Mau, Bac Lieu, and Soc Trang. Of this, 346,241 hectares are dedicated to agricultural and aquacultural production.
The project will be integrated with the Western Sea Dyke to form a cluster of works aimed at natural disaster prevention, storm surge protection, and mitigating flooding and waterlogging caused by land subsidence and erosion. It also helps reduce the damage from droughts and saltwater intrusion during the dry season, thereby supporting sustainable production models in the region.

We have worked closely with the Contractors, Consultants, and referred to the project’s technical documentation to provide recommendations for the appropriate use of our products: MVN 3000RC ( Mighty 3000RC); MVN 3000PC2 ( Mighty 3000PC2).
