MVN FLEXISEAL GP
MVN FLEXISEAL GP is a two components, Consists of liquid polymer A and pre-mixed mortar B, polymer modified, cementitious waterproofing slurry mortar for concrete. Applying for concrete and mortar structures to prevent water infiltration. It is flexible to cover fine cracks of concrete surfaces.
MVN FLEXISEAL GP is suitable used for interior and exterior applications.
MVN FLEXISEAL GP are meets the requirement of BS EN 14891:2017/ TCVN 12692:2020.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
WHERE TO USE
MVN FLEXISEAL GP GP used to result the efficiency waterproofing coat for concrete substrates:
MIXING AND APPLICATION
Preparation
Surface of substrates must be clean, free form grease and oil, loosely adhering particles.
All mortar and concrete surfaces should be brought (SSD - Saturated-Surface-Dry) to a saturated surface dry condition by presoaking with clean water. Remove all excess water just before placing the slurry mortar.
Mixing
Use a clean container for mixing the MVN FLEXISEAL GP, mixing ratio Component A : B = 1 : 4 (parts by weight) by slowly adding the powder component (B) to the liquid component (A). For a large batch use the approved mechanical mixer, for a small batch can use the heavy duty slow spead driller with paddle to mixing the mortar.
In typical, when the full quantities of both components are mixed together, a slurry consistency will result suitable for application with brushes and rollers.. For trowel able consisency, use only 4-4.5kg of component A with all of component B (20kg).
Placing
After completed mixing, the homogeneous mortar are ready for application on substrates. Use a brushes, rollers, or spray gun to apply the mortar to the surface requiring waterproofing, ensuring even application to create a continuous film. Apply 2 layers, the direction of the second layer is perpendicular to the direction of the previous layer. The thickness of the waterproofing layer can be from 1-2mm for vertical surfaces and from 1-3mm for horizontal surfaces of the structure to be waterproofed.
Curing
Avoid application in direct sun or strong wind to prevent the fast evaporation of water. Immediately after completing the waterproofing layer, it is necessary tomaintain the mortar surface to avoid the mortar surface drying too quickly. Use wet burlap or plastic sheet to cover the applied surface. Liquid curing spraying can be used to improving the waterproofing efficiency of applied material, , avoid the direct influence of rainwater that damages the waterproofing membrane. Maintain maintenance for 3 to 5 days.
Cleaning
All tools and equipment should be rinse with water immediately after use, clean and remove all traces of grout.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
During use, avoid inhalation of dust and contact with the skin and eyes. Wear suitable clothing, gloves, eye protection and respiratory protective equipment.
